Barefeet in partnership with Taksvarkki (Operation a day’s work) is implementing a project called Pamodzi (Together we can) which integrates disability inclusion in the operational modes of Barefeet Theatre, promoting the rights of persons with disability through joint actions of awareness-raising through artistic performances between the Barefeet Children’s Council, persons living with disability, Barefeet staff and the parents in the communities in Lusaka, Kaoma and Livingstone. Partnerships between Barefeet Theatre, Organizations working with persons with disability and other key actors will be strengthened in order to promote disability inclusion and advocacy work against stigma and discrimination towards persons with disabilities ensuring they can live decent and productive lives without any barriers.
