Our Services: The 5 Toes

thingy_21. Interventions: is a workshop program is the backbone of Barefeet. This program is able to reach thousands of children across Zambia. Each of our workshop modules covers topics that have been highlighted as critical in the healthy development of the young people we work with, such as the effects of street life, health issues (including HIV/AIDS, drugs and alcohol), violence, the environment, culture, and children’s rights. Our interventions are delivered through fun, participatory performance and art in a safe and supportive environment where young people are empowered to share their ideas and opinions, develop their creative talents and build their self-esteem. Learn more...

By engaging these children on the streets, Barefeet is able to enthuse and inspire them as well as link them to other vital services in the community. Learn more...
