Barefeet under the Uncle John Project will for the next two weeks, be having a residential camp held at Ciyanjano Campsite in Lusaka West, This camp is being held from Saturday 3rd September 2016 to Sunday 18th September 2016. 50 children from the street, 30 from Lusaka, 10 from Kitwe and 10 from Kabwe will be invited to attend this camp. During this time we will take them through the Uncle John programme as well as give them other skills, Theatre, Acrobatics, Life Skills and Alcohol and Drug Training. There will also be medical staff on hand to give all the kids a full medical check-up.
Most of the kids (aged between 10 and 14 years old) at the camp, will only be having cloths on their body, to wear throughout the camp and after integration. This is where you come in, we want you to help us, provide clothing for the kids, any cloths are welcome, mostly for kids aged 10 to 14 years old, both gender.
